Common faults and solutions for 3 inch diesel water pumps
The mechanical faults of the pump itself are such as: the impeller and the pump body are stuck by debris; the pump shaft and bearings are rusty; the pump shaft is severely bent, etc.
Solution: Disassemble the pump body to remove debris and rust; remove the pump shaft for correction or replace with a new pump shaft.
The body of the three-inch diesel water pump is hot. The bearing is damaged; the pump shaft is bent or the two shafts are not concentric; the lack of lubricating oil or the oil quality is not good; the balance hole on the impeller is blocked, and the impeller loses balance.
Solution: replace the bearing; remove the rear cover, install a gasket between the bracket and the bearing seat; investigate the pump shaft or adjust the concentricity of the two shafts; add clean lubrication; remove the blockage in the balance hole.
Insufficient flow of three-inch diesel water pump. The bottom valve, pipeline and impeller are partially blocked or the impeller is defective; serious water leakage in the outlet pipe.
Remedy: restore the rated speed; shorten the pipeline or change the curvature of the pipeline; remove the blockage and replace the impeller; block the water leakage.
